The main feature of femur-patellar pain syndrome is pain in the anterior and retropatellar part of the knee during simple activities of daily living such as running, squatting, prolonged sitting, climbing up and down steps, cycling, jumping and playing sports. Other signs noted were patellar crepitus, oedema and joint locking. Only women participated in the rehabilitation sessions proposed by the researcher. After protocolised treatment sessions there was an improvement in the intensity of claudication and also a reduction in the need for support during walking. For the movement on stairs, few showed impairment. As for the squatting movement, there was ease in performing the movement. As for joint instability, there was a decrease in the complaint. Pain was considered mild when performing heavy exercises and oedema decreased considerably.
