For the calculation, a parametric estimation of panel data with fixed effects has been used, through a convergence model conditional on spatial economic concentration.The results affirm that the production of the Northern Macro Region is concentrated in the tertiary sector, and that this concentration is relevant for its economic growth and convergence among the regions that comprise it. In addition, it has been possible to establish that the more concentrated this sector is, the lower the macro regional economic growth will be.
