The present study was conducted at Central Research Farm of Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Allahabad during rabi season 2017. The experiment was conducted during March to June, 2017. The Eight okra genotypes were taken to know their response on incidence of major insect pests on okra genotypes viz., Earias vittella, Bemisia tabaci, Amrasca biguttula biguttula, Aphis gossypii, Dysdercus cingulatus. The screening of okra genotypes against yellow vein mosaic virus, recorded highest mean population of whiteflies (Bemicia tabaci) per plant in IC117216 (9.09), IC140934 (11.23) VRO-5 (9.21), Parbhani Kranti (check) (7.36), IC433695 (9.2), IC140906 (11.23) VRO-4 (12.13), IIVR-10 (10.17). The genotypes, VRO-5(Kashi Pragati) and PK (Parbhani Kranti), were at par by recording the lowest mean population. Based on disease scale, out of 8 different genotypes VRO-5 was found immune to Yellow vein mosaic virus incidence. Were 3 genotypes or (IC117216, IC140934 and Parbhani Kranti (check) were Moderate resistant Genotypes (IC433695, and IC140906) was Tolerant against YVMV, (VRO-4) Susceptible, while the remaining one genotype (IIVR-10) was High Susceptibility.
