On that note, all education systems need to be more inclusive. Togo with the support of its partners including Plan-International Togo has set up an inclusive education project to facilitate access to mainstream schools for children with disabilities. The present study seeks to verify compliance with the material and pedagogical requirements of inclusive education by investigating the availability of adapted teaching materials, and the qualifications and pedagogical practices of teachers in inclusive classes within the framework of this project. The overall aim is to analyze and describe the devices and pedagogical practices of inclusive education.

Kossi Edem YOVOGAN holds a Master's degree in Education and Training Sciences, whose dissertation, defended in 2021 at the University of Lomé, focused on inclusive education in Togo. A specialist in educational policies and systems in developing countries, he is concerned with the inclusion of children with disabilities in schools.
