This study reflects the past to present provision of educational and social services of the Blind children and adults in the Church education with the case in point of Mertulemariam Monastery Church in Enabssie Sarmider in Amhara Regional State. Its ultimate objective was to reveal out constructive educational delivery principles and practices manifested in early Church education program and present directions in which the good practices are to taken in to account as a framework in the present education system. To attain this objective, the writer attempts to investigate the significant developments in the Church education of the blind in the last Sixteen Hundred years.
