This study analyzed the income disparity among the high-risk job of across-cities across-provinces bus drivers in South Sumatera. The high number of 2 road accident showed that across-cities across-provinces autobus drivers' job is a high-risk job. In this study, primary and secondary data were analyzed. Saturated sampling technique was used involving 71 intra-Sumatera bus drivers and 125 intra- Java bus drivers to participate in this study. The result of analysis of Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition that there is income disparity among the bus drivers which is caused by the three endowments that were facilities, environment, and compensation. The level of riskiness reflects the amount of salary that should be received by the workers. Thus, it is rightful to give bus drivers high income for their work. Besides carrying people to travel from places to places, the land-transportation sector also has vital role as it contributes to the distribution of goods and services all over the nation. Finally, income disparity might not appear only to land-transportation sub sector.
