These features make superalloys ideal for applications in aircraft, submarines, nuclear reactors, dies for hot working of metals, and petrochemical equipment. It will be noted that not all applications require elevated temperature strength capacity. Their high strength, coupled with corrosion resistance, has made certain super alloy standard materials applicable for biomedical joint implants, and cryogenic applications.

Dr. Sushil Kumar Choudhary ist Gastdozent am MCAET, Akbarpur, das der NDUAT, Kumarganj, U.P. angegliedert ist. Er hat einen B.Tech. der UPTU, Lucknow und einen M.Tech. in Production & Industrial Engg. der Integral University, Lucknow. Davor erhielt er einen Doktortitel in Produktionstechnik von GBPUAT, Pantnagar, U.K., Indien. Er erhielt die Auszeichnung für die beste Doktorarbeit.
