Dr. Nikhil Pareek has profound experience and expertise in intelligence and security matters and has served the Government of India outfits for over 27 Years. An avid learner, he has dexterously pursued a multitude of academic qualifications including M.Phil and Ph.D from Panjab University, MA(Defence studies), MBA (IS),  M.com(Business Administration) and CS(Inter).  The research on India in the Arctic has been conceptualised, devised, analysed and viewed from the prism of International Relations and dynamic geostrategic viewpoint and will be a useful book on the subject. Several of the author's papers on Arctic issues have been published in reputed international journals.
