Sanjay Asthana teaches at the School of Journalism and Strategic Media in Middle Tennessee State University. His areas of interest are media and cultural studies, postcolonial studies, visual communication, and international and global communication. He is the author of Youth Media Imaginaries from Around the World (2012), and has co-authored Palestinian Youth Media and the Pedagogies of Estrangement (2016).
