Autorenporträt
My first book, Checkpoint, was a stepping stone for something greater. A majority of this story takes place in my cousin's home, which is actually a home that was built in the 1700s, and currently exists in the small quiet town of Connecticut. His home was unlike anything I had ever seen, and studying the layout I knew I had to make this as my focal point for this short story. It has so much character, so much history, I had to bring life, or something different, to a home we don't see anymore. Minus a few monsters and mannequins, this house deserved a story that was larger than life. I can pretty much already guarantee my cousin, and my family, won't appreciate the level of disturbing nature this story contains, but like yourselves, I hope you see this story through a different lens. If not, then maybe I'll just leave you with questions that will eventually be illuminated with the answers, in time.
