It is sought that the reader can have an important guide when developing academic and research works where qualitative studies and the first two levels of quantitative research are involved, which are the descriptive and relational ones that use the inductive process for the development of the same and that many times is confused with the permanent activities of analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, dialectic that the academic and the scientist develop in their daily work. The topics of dissertation, alignment, directionality and synchronization of research, descriptive studies that are univariate and finally relational research that are bivariate have been developed. This with the purpose of remembering that scientific research is sustained in the scientific method, which is rigorous, systematic, organized and that it is only one, that its use allows to find ways that unite science for the benefit of humanity.
