Autorenporträt
Deric Shannon is a former line cook and convenience store clerk, now an Associate Professor of Sociology at Emory University's Oxford College, USA. He has published over a half dozen books and his work has appeared in a range of journals, including Critical Sociology, Theory in Action, Sexualities, and The Qualitative Report. His work spans social inequality, state theory, food justice and sustainability, and social movement studies.
