Guadalupe Loaeza es periodista y escritora, ha sido articulista en los periodicos unomasuno, La Jornada y actualmente en Reforma. Ha publicado con gran exito: Las ninas bien, Las reinas de Polanco, Primero las damas, Compro, luego existo, Simplemente Martita, Infancia es destino y El caballero del Titanic, entre otros. La pelicula Miroslava esta basada en un cuento de Guadalupe Loaeza, con guion de Vicente Lenero. Fue titular de A traves del espejo, programa de entrevistas en Proyecto 40. Su personalidad franca, controversial y atrevida, asi como sus libros vigorosos y entranables la han convertido en una celebridad en los medios de comunicacion.
