First part of the book discusses on the presence of pathogenic microorganisms in the bloodstream. Sepsis, the worst and serious form, is a systemic response that is caused by the presence of pathogenic microorganisms or their toxins, or both, in the bloodstream. Second part of the book will discuss pericarditis, myocarditis, endocarditis, and rheumatic heart disease, all diseases of the cardiovascular system. The third part of the book discusses on the infectious diseases of the hematopoietic and lymphoreticular system.
