This study aimed at developing inferential comprehension skills, which are important to study literary texts. Accordingly, the researcher adopted an inferential comprehension strategy, which was based on activating student's prior knowledge. The researcher designed some activities might help students learn to activate their prior knowledge, which is essential process for making inference: Previewing, Prediction and Questioning.
