Grant Morrison is one of the most successful ex-2000 AD writers, with a host of awards and a huge fan following. He began his career on Marvel UK’s Zoids before coming to the ‘Galaxy’s Greatest Comic’, where his strip Zenith became a fan-favourite. At first a prolific writer of ‘mature readers’ comics, including the award-winning Animal Man, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Doom Patrol ,The Invisibles and The Filth for Vertigo, he has gone on to write successful runs on the X-Men, Batman and received critical acclaim for his work on the All-Star Superman series. Mark Millar is one of 2000 AD’s most prolific story creators, with many co-creation credits including Babe Race 2000, and Big Dave. He has also written for Judge Dredd, Judge Anderson, Rogue Trooper and Zenith with Grant Morrison. Outside of the ‘Galaxy’s Greatest Comic’, Millar has written The Authority, Aztek, Batman, The Ultimates, and Vampirella. Two of his creator-owned projects have been turned into big budget Hollywood movies – Wanted starred Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman, while Kick-Ass was directed by Matthew Vaughn. As co-creator of Judge Dredd, Carlos Ezquerra designed the classic original costume as well as visually conceptualising Mega-City One. He also co-created Strontium Dog. He has also illustrated A.B.C. Warriors, Judge Anderson, Tharg the Mighty, Al’s Baby and Cursed Earth Koburn amongst many others. Outside of the ‘Galaxy’s Greatest Comic’, Ezquerra first illustrated Third World War in Crisis magazine, and has since become a regular collaborator with Garth Ennis, working on Adventures in the Rifle Brigade, Bloody Mary, Just a Pilgrim, Condors and The Magnificent Kevin. He also pencilled two special Preacher episodes Ron Smith has drawn many 2000 AD stories including some of the epic Judge Dredd tales including The Day the Law Died and The Judge Child. A favourite amongst 2000 AD fans, His other work includes Chronos Carnival, Tales of the Doghouse and the classic Daily Star Dredd strips.
