Only through observation of the location and nature of the inflammation can a diagnosis be established. The management of IBD depends on the disease severity, type and extent. Immunosuppressive drugs, anti-inflammatory drugs, steroids and biological therapy for IBD are certain medical strategies for controlling the disease.
