Today I found something great, look the clock was just lying there on the side of the path. At first I couldn't believe my eyes and thought it was just a discarded, empty candy wrapper. But look, it's a nice wristwatch from Junghans. The leather strap is no longer noticeable due to the frost and the snow that has now thawed away. The winter has just left its mark, but the clockwork is still working. The hair grows about one centimeter per month without fertilizer. In one year that will be 12 cm. Once a year is not enough to get your hair cut. When my brother and I were growing up, we went to a special men's hair saloon with our father. The owner of the shop came from Northern Germany and was related to a large cousin of our grandfather. It had to do with the fact that our great-grandfather Ignatius had married a born Mergenthaler from Knetzgau. In order to show the loosely connectedness with the base, our father accepted the effort and visited this hairdresser in Knetzgau with usboys every few months. It was on the main street in Knetzgau. The Main flows between the two villages of Augsfeld, where we lived, and Knetzgau, where the barber shop was located. So we had to cross the river via the barrages. Drive one kilometer with the tractor to the Main, then walk over the barrage. The water could be seen under the jetty because the transition was covered with a metal grille. Some people got scared. We three men went about it fearlessly. Arrived on the other side of the Main, we walked another nearly kilometer to the hairdressing salon. We had to wait until seats became available. The senior boss and his son and a pen were very busy. Various magazines caught our attention. Each of us leafed through a colorful journal. However, the conversations between the customers and the hairdressers working

Glory, Powerful§The steam really fogged our little kitchen.Because the bath water was too hot at first, my grandma added cold water from the tapThe faucet and the pouring were the only water point in the house. More water drinkers and taps could be found in the stable and in the yardWhen bathing, the temperature was often regulated by pouring hot or cold waterAt the end of the bathing process, washing your hair was always a special procedureThe shampoo came out of a small plastic pillow. One tip of the pillow was cut off with scissors and then when the foam was pressed, it spilled not only onto my hair, but mostly onto my face. Most of all, I was always afraid for my eyes. Every time I shouted: give me a washOften we were allowed to eat a piece of warm, freshly baked cake before going to bed.
