Mestrado em Ensino Superior, com especialização em Direito. Concluiu vários cursos de diploma e de mestrado neste domínio. Participou em workshops nacionais sobre riscos. Atualmente, faz parte do projeto Forsat, "Reforço do Sistema de Alerta Precoce para a bacia do Zaza e Agabama". Professor na Universidade "José Martí Pérez", Sancti Spíritus, Cuba.
