The results indicated that the major reason for students indulgence in drug abuse is the belief that it brings relaxation and high feeling high. Male students were the most dominant users of drugs. Boys schools and mixed schools were more adversely affected by drug abuse than the girls schools. Drug advertisement had the significant influence on drug use among students particularly alcohol and cigarettes advertisement
