Fishing industry has been earmarked as one of the key Economic pillar in vision 2030, If Kenya is to realize a middle income economy from a developing Nation. Yet the income of the self employed fishermen in the Fishing Industry continue to dwindle and is attributed to their educational level challenges. This has raised concern among players in the Fishing Industry. This book make an attempt to elucidate the influence of education on income and pertinent observations on how education can be repackaged to equip the self employed with appropriate skills to be more productive and make Fishing Industry to be more vibrant.
