The study sought to find out the influence of rural-urban migration on the living conditions of older persons in rural areas of Imo State, Nigeria. The study involved older men and women aged 70 and above. The descriptive research survey design was adopted. A total of 720 respondents formed the sample size for the study. Instrument used was a structured questionnaire which was complimented by in-depth interview sessions.The data collected was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics.Seven hypotheses were tested using Pearson Moment Correlation Coefficient at 0.05 level of significance. The result showed a significant relationship between rural-urban migration and the living conditions of older persons in rural areas of Imo State, Nigeria; living conditions of rural dwelling older persons were affected positively in the areas of health, access to quality nutrition through rural-urban linkages.Based on the findings,it was recommended among others that government shouldprovide social welfare facilities for rural dwelling older persons in Nigeria.
