The research design used for the study was the descriptive research design. The population of the study consisted of all the teachers in the 598 public secondary schools in Edo State. Numbering 4493 teachers. The sample size was 30% which was 1348 teachers and the simple random technique was used. Data were collected using the questionnaire and were analyzed using percentages and multiple regression. The result showed that there was significant difference in the job performance of qualified and unqualified teachers, experience and less experience teachers, and male and female teachers. There was no significant difference in the job performance old and young, married and unmarried teachers. It was recommended among others that qualified teachers should be employed and that government should put a scheme to encourage teachers to improve on their qualification. The work targets the education sector and policy makers.
