Breastfeeding is the process by which a baby is optimally nourished up to six months of age and serves as a vital complement to the infant's nutrition even beyond the age of one year. Being a physiological process, the breastfeeding woman is immersed in different situations that transcend the social, having family implications and being characterized by the knowledge surrounding this stage of life within motherhood.This book explores the phenomenon through the voices of a population of breastfeeding women who live their maternity depending on their social context.
