Labor informality is an emerging reality in a country's economy. Specifically in Colombia, the labor market has spread from the informal context for various reasons such as violence, forced displacement at regional and local levels, underemployment, unemployment, and of course different factors such as age, gender, schooling and social security affiliation in health.
