This book aims to discuss the importance of information and technology in business, in the Digital Society. Starting from the information highways, virtual companies, and their teleworkers, we seek to explore the various facets, relying on how, how the different theoretical approaches, treat information and technology, in business. Technology and tools, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc., are essential to support the definition and implementation of the strategy as a way to improve the competitiveness of companies in the digital world.Somewhat paradoxically the bet is to make the diversity of the approaches of the digital economy allow to clarify an important debate, better than could make it a specific theoretical construction, too spontaneously ad hoc. To understand the nature and breadth of the transformations of society that are aware of the ways of treating, storing, and circulating information, it is useful to resort to relevant theoretical research tools, although the field to which they are addressed is partial.
