The information audit is based on the periodic evaluation of the information resources that the institutions have, to identify within their organizational processes the flows and the information that circulates, with the objective of understanding the entity and its capacities. At the same time, it allows to determine which are the existing information sources, which ones are really used and which ones create unnecessary costs, thus assessing the effectiveness of the information system. The present research has a descriptive character. Theoretical and empirical methods were used to gather information, resulting in a proposal for the design of an information audit for the management process of the Empresa Nacional de Productos Agropecuarios (ENPA) in Villa Clara, based on the model proposed by María del Carmen Villardefrancos. The preliminary inventory identified 25 entities or information resources within the aforementioned management.
