This study focuses attention on the information needs and information seeking behavior of the media practitioners (MPs) in Karachi. MPs require selective information. Priority.Priority of nformation is very high among all groups.Information seeking behavior of the practitioners involved in research-based programs was found to be very distinct than others.The results would be helpful for library planning,collection development and designing of library media services in house libraries.
