The book examined the role of Information Technology Management on the performance of selected banks in Nigeria. There exists conflicting results among studies on this position. The The study is borne out of this curiosity and used a sample of eight banks drawn from a population of twenty one mega banks based on three criteria of size, geographical location of head offices and generation of banks. The study employed a combination of questionnaire and observation to collect data from staff and customers of the selected banks to evaluate the influence of Information Technology on the performance of Nigerian Banks. The study revealed that investment in Information Technology contribute significantly to the profitability of Nigerian Banks to a very large extent. It was however revealed that the potentials of Information Technology are not yet maximised and the reasons are attributable to Information Technology related problems.
