Richard Samuel Sheres is a former U.S. Government foreign affairs and intelligence senior executive. In addition to Ingersoll, he is the author of the acclaimed novels Keeping Gideon (a San Diego Book Awards finalist) and An Imperfect Certainty. Born and raised in New York City, he has visited or resided in over sixty countries. He and his wife currently live in Alexandria, Virginia.
