Advances in technology have significantly impacted construction surveying, leading to the production of new surveying instruments at regular intervals. These instruments offer advantages such as accuracy, productivity, and interconnectivity, leading many construction companies to adopt them. A study using a questionnaire was conducted to determine how to incorporate these developments in teaching construction surveying to students in Construction Management Technology programs. The results showed that schools favor the inclusion of cutting-edge "High Tech" equipment in surveying to better prepare students for the workplace. After teaching basic surveying instruments, it is recommended to teach the use of new surveying instruments and their applications in construction. The study also provides insights into the manufacturing trends in new construction surveying instruments.
