He is a Warwick graduate in sociology and social policy and is currently studying for his PhD on the impact of changing global flows on labour by assessing the linkages between globalization, export-oriented employment and social exclusion. She is Master in International Economics and PhD candidate at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Her research interests are trade and economic development, innovation and manufacturing performance K. NARAYANAN graduated from Delhi School of Economics, India, and carried out Post-doctoral research at Institute of Advanced Studies United Nations University, Japan. His research interests include industrial economics, international business, and economics of technological change and innovation. He has published in the field of industrial competitiveness, technology transfer, and trade. He is currently Professor of Economics, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India QINGPING ZHANG is an undergraduate of Renmin University of China YANYUN ZHAO is director of Research Centre for Applied Statistics, a key national research institute accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education. His current research activity is the development of national and industrial competitiveness
