Dr. Sudipti Arora is a Research Scientist at Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology, Jaipur and is expert in the field of Nature based Sustainable solutions for waste management such as vermifiltration technology, and working on zero waste & Circular economy. She obtained her Ph.D in Environmental Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2016. Her Research interests also involve wastewater-based epidemiology research of SARS-CoV-2 in COVID-19. She is a member of International water Association (IWA) and the Biotech Research society of India (BRSI). She has been working on different researches funded by DST, India and GCRF Awards, university of Nottingham. Dr. Arora has authored important discoveries in the field of environmental biotechnology publishing several SCI journals. She has been honoured by various awards including, Research Excellence Award 2020 by Institute of Scholars for outstanding research work and Green Parrot Award in 2019 for her contribution in Indigenous water treatment by vermifiltration technology. Dr. Ashwani Kumar is an awardee of Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship Germany, and visiting Professorship in JSPS Japan, U.K., and INSA-DFG Germany. He has done his Ph.D and MSc from University of Rajasthan in 1971 and is a gold medallist in MSc (Botany). He has tremendous contribution in the areas of plant pathology, physiology, renewable sources of energy, biofuel biotechnology, photosynthetic carbon fixation in C3 and C4 plants with support of projects granted by UGC, USDA-ICAR, MNES, CSIR, DST and DBT and FACT. He has Visited USA, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, UK, Japan, France, Sweden, and Portugal for research. He has published around 180 papers in National and International journals. He is a Fellow of various societies FBS, FPSI, FISMPP and FMA. He has Guided research to 39 students in Ph.D. He is also a Consultant of World Bank Project sanctioned to SPRI-HPPI and Biodis Spain. He hasPublished 16 books including Plant Tissue Culture-A tool in Biotechnology Basics and Application, and edited book on Fern Biotechnology by Springer. He also has edited another 14 books mainly in the field of Biotechnology. He was awarded V Puri Medal 2008 for Botany and CEE award for excellence in teaching and research in 2015. Dr. Shinjiro Ogita obtained his Masters and Ph.D. in Agriculture (subject: sciences of resources and environment) from the United Graduate School of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT). He is an expert in the field of cell and tissue culture, transformation technologies for higher plants. He also has a keen interest in sciences of plant bio-resources. He has more than 20 years of experiences in research and education at the following institutes, the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Japan, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan, Toyama Prefectural University (TPU), Japan. He presently works as a Full Professor at Faculty of Bioresource Sciences, Department of Local Resources (formerly Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, Department of Life Sciences), Prefectural University of Hiroshima (PUH), Japan. Dr. Yuan-YeuYau is a teaching researcher at Department of Natural Sciences at NSU, OK, USA. He obtained his Master and Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. He was a researcher and a specialist at University of California-Berkeley and Plant Gene Expression Center (USDA-ARS) at Albany, California. Dr. Yau has more than 20 years of experiences in research, mentoring researchers, scholars and students. His researches are in areas of plant biotechnology, plant breeding, plant biochemistry and plant physiology. Dr.Yau worked on projects with grants supported by NSF (National Science Foundation), NIH (National Institutes of Health), USDA, Cotton Incorporated, California Fresh Carrot Advisory Board, North-eastern State University. Dr.Yau has authored or co-authored several Science Citation Index (SCI) and Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) journals. He also serves as a reviewer for several important scientific journals (and Springer-Nature book proposals), including Plant Biotechnology Journal, Plant Physiology and Biochemistry and Plant Cell Reports. He is also an editor of several Springer-Nature books.
