Autorenporträt
Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roland Lachmayer is a founding director and head of the Institute for Product Development (IPeG) at the Leibniz Universität Hannover. He is a senator of the Leibniz Universität Hannover, spokesman of the graduate school "Tailored Light," member of the scientific directorate of Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V., managing director of Scientific Society for Product Development (WiGeP), and since 2018 spokesman of the ERDF-funded research network GROTESK. Since 2019, Professor Lachmayer has headed the Additive Manufacturing task group of the PHOENIX-D cluster of excellence. His publications to date include work on development methodology and numerous publications on additive manufacturing. Behrend Bode has been a research associate at the Institute for Product Development (IPeG) at the Leibniz Universität Hannover since 2019 and is working on the design of thermally and mechanically loaded components for additive manufacturing. Previously, he successfully graduated from the Technical University of Braunschweig with a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on structural dynamics and worked in the field as a visiting researcher at the NASA Langley Research Center and in the automotive industry as a systems engineer. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Kaierle is an executive director at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. and a professor at the Leibniz University Hannover. He is a member of the Board of Stakeholders of the European Technology Platform Photonics21. Since 2011, he has also been working as executive editor in chief of the Springer Nature Journal Light: Science & Applications.
