As a main result, this book is an educational toolkit to prepare the next generation to be members of the society and a guide that provide proposals and suggestions for learning students aged 13-17 years old in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) via the linking curriculum knowledge to real-world issues. This book could be used also for the implementation of extracurricular activities that disengage students from the teacher's monologue andgive them the motivation for self-active and active participation.

Panagiota Argyri is a Mathematician to Model High School Evangeliki of Smyrna in Athens, Greece with Master Education in Didactic of Mathematics and Master Science in Economical Mathematics. She has great experience in organization of seminars and training courses for professional development for teachers and is a mentor of many European projects.
