Carolyn Jess-Cooke teaches creative writing at Northumbria University. She is the author of Film Sequels: Theory and Practice from Hollywood to Bollywood and Shakespeare on Film: Such Things as Dreams are Made of. She is the recipient of an Eric Gregory Award, a Tyrone Guthrie Prize for Poetry, and a Northern Promise Award.
