Security concerns were notably at the basis of the birth of the modern state. However, no matter what political system is in place, this question is always posed in every state throughout the world, but often takes various forms. In the DRC, apart from the rebellions and wars that weaken the eastern part of the country, which are now considered to be international terrorism, there are many other forms of insecurity that occur mainly in urban centers. This is the case in particular in the city of Mbujimayi, where there is a resurgence of multifaceted insecurity that disrupts the peace of the peaceful citizens with harmful repercussions. This study, undertaken by two specialists in the field, examines the insecurity in the city of Mbujimayi, looking at the causes, with a therapeutic vision.
