Inside Her Mind is a collection of poetry that captures the raw, unfiltered essence of a broken heart-a tapestry of thoughts woven from grief and vulnerability. It's a journey through the aching void left not only by the loss of love but by the fragments of oneself lost along the way. This book stands as a refuge for when the thoughts become too heavy, a sanctuary where one can feel a little less alone amidst the storm of their own mind. Subha is an up-and-coming South Asian author and poet based in New York City. She immigrated to the U.S. at the age of seven, leaving everything she knew behind. The shift to a new culture came with its own set of challenges, leaving her feeling isolated and struggling to navigate her new reality. The weight of this transition, combined with her internal struggle with depression and anxiety, made it difficult for her to find her voice. Eventually, she found solace in poetry, which became both her refuge and a vital means for self-expression. Through her writing, Subha is able to share her battles, emotions, and life experiences. At just eighteen, she makes her mark on the literary world with the release of her debut book, Inside Her Mind. With this book, she hopes to offer the same solace to others that poetry provided her-creating a bridge of connection for people everywhere who are seeking to heal, understand, and embrace their own journeys.
