Mitzi J. Smith is associate professor of New Testament and early Christian studies at Ashland Theological Seminary, Detroit. She has contributed to The Women"s Bible Commentary, Onesimus Our Brother (Fortress Press, 2012), and True to Our Native Land (Fortress Press, 2007), and written The Literary Construction of the Other in the Acts of the Apostles (2011).
