This book entitled, Inspirational Book of Poetry and Readings, by Joce R. Smith, is a proclamation of hope, written in a heart-felt and open style. It is divided into two sections. The first section is a group of poems. The poetry section also, contains poems used in public greetings and presentations that can be considered "welcome" poems. The second section contains some inspiring thoughts from the author. This work is reflective of the human experience. Spirituality, marriage, justice, life and death are some of the themes the reader will encounter. This book is based on such things as the author's life experiences, social issues and challenges of today. This work of poems and inspirational thoughts will motivate, inspire, and delight the reader. Joce Rogers Smith is from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Joce loves to read and write. This is the second book written by the author. Memories of My Grandson: Jelani Tariq Bryant was published in 2016. A poem written by Joce was published in Pearls of the Past, The International Library of Poetry, 2002, entitled True Love. Joce Rogers Smith is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration. She retired from Miami Dade College where she was an administrator and, an adjunct instructor. Joce is a pastor's wife; an inspirational speaker; a teacher; a role model, a mentor and a writer.
