Inspired Moments of Truth, A Book of Poetry is a collection of poems inspired and written during times of prayer. Mary Gordon has always loved rhyme, and frequently, as she writes, God inspires her writing to become rhythmic and full of rhyming lines. Inevitably, she is always elated when this happens. Finally, after much urging from her friends, she gathered these poems into this delightful book. This diversified selection includes eloquence, cleverness, rhythmic expositions of Scriptural passages, thought-provoking lines, humor, and even silly limericks.

Autorenporträt
Mary L. Gordon majored in mathematics at Purdue University and earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees. She taught math at Haille Sellassie I University in Alemaya, Ethiopia from 1968 to 1970 where she raised two lion cubs. She also taught at Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia. Mary first confessed Jesus as Lord in 1975. Since that time she has often written insights as she discovered them. In the early days, her writing was mostly in letters to friends. In 2004 she discovered the art of journaling in her prayer time, and she has since found tremendous fulfillment in God's inspirations. She first became a published author in 2023 and has since devoted much of her time to writing. Mary claims that her writing is enhanced with God's input on a regular basis. Whether it's praises, prayers, or just plain notes, as she writes, God slides in and the words take on an eloquence that she never preconceived. She finds this delightful, and her readers do too.
