Forms and degrees of security and insecurity vary by region and differ by gender. In Kosovo, the term security seems to describe one of people's major concerns. This research study investigated the correlation between institutional insecurity and lack of public motivation in Kosovo. The study investigated further the correlation between institutional insecurity and public motivation according to age, gender, ethnicity and residence.

Albina Balidemaj has finished her undergraduate and graduate studies in Clinical Psychology at the University of Minnesota in Twin Cities and University of Prishtina. Currently, she is working on her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Vienna in Austria.
