This book is an evaluation of a distance learning course given via television. The evaluation highlighted the challenges and the success of participants enrolled in the course entitled: Introduction to Computers. In this evaluation, I wanted to know how students who enrolled previously in the introduction to computer class via TV used the computer skills they had learned in both their personal and professional lives while also assisting the university faculty with enhancing the program to attract a larger audience. Participants were contacted from student records on file in the Distance Learning Center at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Feedback used during the evaluation was from graduate students from the university that were previously registered for and completed the TBE 520-91 course during the Spring 2001 semester and would have firsthand knowledge of their skills both before and after taking the course. The Introduction to Computer course was required as a part of the core curriculum of program.
