Prostate cancer (PCa) and benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) are the most common malignancy among men. On the other hand, insulin resistance (IR) is strongly associated with obesity and had an important role in the pathogenesis and raised complicating of many human diseases, such as PCa among men through various pathways such as changes in inflammation, oxidative stress and apoptosis. Hence, taking into consideration the combination of obesity, IR and some markers of tumor, pro-inflammatory and oxidative stress may demonstrated excellent indicator for early-stage risk of PCa among men. In the present study, we concluded that blood biomarkers (Glucose, Insulin, HOMA-IR, BMI, IL-6, IFN-Gamma, TNF- , PSA, KLK10, MSLN, ADMA and NO) were emphatically connected with the nearness of Prostatitis and they could be representing to indicators of PCa and PBH in men. The AUC results indicated that Insulin, HOMA-IR, Cortisol, SHBG, PSA, KlK-10, MSLN, ADMA, NO, IL-6, TNF- and IFN-Gamma could potentially be used as greater predictive biomarkers in PCa than in BPH patients. The above investigated clinical biomarkers must be used in the future for early detection of BHP and PCa diseases in men.
