D.S. Cannon is a former Canadian Forces member and veteran of the conflict in Afghanistan. He served as a reservist with the Princess of Wales Own Regiment and then with the Third Battalion - Royal Canadian Regiment in Afghanistan. He retired from military service in 2013.
