Produktbeschreibung
Fresh water is a resource used in all economic activities (agricultural, industrial, domestic, energy, navigation, etc.) that can lead to sustainable development and a stable socio-cultural life. This resource is nowadays threatened by economic activity, demographic expansion, pollution, and climate change. In order to achieve sustainable economic and social development the adoption of integrated water resources management (IWRM), it is necessary to manage in a rational and balanced way, and to preserve water resources. This management aims to solve water problems in the countries and allow the integral and rational use of water in all sectors of activity. In Algeria, the adoption of IWRM makes it possible to meet the water needs of the population thanks to the supply policy established by the public authorities. The State has decided to reduce the water deficits of the population and to preserve water resources with the objective of sustainable development. Water management is ensured by public actors, which are the Ministry of Water Resources and the Water Resources Departments.
