Virginia "Ginny" Harmelink is the Education Department head and an early childhood educator faculty at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona. Previously, she was an associate faculty at Ashford University and the professional development director of the Wyoming state-wide resource and referral agency. She owned and operated a family childcare business for 17 years and is an active member and reviewer for NAEYC's Accreditation of Early Childhood Higher Education Programs. Ginny earned an A.S. in early childhood education and teaching from Casper College and a B.S. and an M.A. in curriculum and instruction with an endorsement in early childhood education from the University of Wyoming College of Education. She is also a certified Tools of the Mind mentor.
