Yet financial information has long presented problems, particularly since the invention of money. Governments in developing countries are increasingly exploring methods and systems to modernize and improve public financial management. In Kenya, majority of SACCOs are faced by several obstacles in their managerial systems due to poor implementation of Integrated Financial Information Systems (IFIS) in their institutions.The results of this study will enable the officials in SACCOs in general and other financial institutes like stock market to identify the effectiveness of deploying information system and test its ability to follow up the new development in banking industry. In addition to that, the study will help SACCOs to develop the information service through improving the information quality using Integrated Financial Information Systems; therefore, the SACCOs will be able to face the increasing challenges and competition with international banks.
