Currently the use of synthetic pesticide in pest management of agricultural production poses problems on non-target organisms, quality of the environment and produce, its effectiveness (due to pest resistance development) and buying ability of low scale farmers particularly farmers of developing countries. So environmentally and economically safe control measures are available and promising for the crises with the synthetic pesticides. Therefore; the integration of intercropping as cultural practice and neem (Azadrachita indica) seed powder solution as botanical pesticide was tested and found effective for pod borer management. And I hope this book will be a good reference for whom interested around this field of study.
