The INM have been recognized to influence fruit quality of pomegranate. Bacterial blight is one of the most devastating diseases of pomegranate occurring in major pomegranate growing states of India. Bacterial blight has been observed damaging the pomegranate crop in moderate to severe proportion resulting in enormous losses. It is the demand of the time to search for suitable and effective control measures against the disease and develop suitable protocol to controlthe disease as improve the yield and quality of pomegranate.

Born on 8th August, 1980. Obtained B. Sc. degree in agriculture from PDKV, Akola in 2002. Completed M. Sc. (Agri.) and Ph.D. (Agri) in the subject of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry in 2004 and 2021, respectively from VNMKV, Parbhani. Starting career as a Assistant Professor in 2007. Guided 17 M.Sc. students and published 40 research papers.
